Description
Detached 185 sqm villa with beautiful garden, large swimming pool and terraces. Here you can spend the whole day outside in the sun, or in the shade. But not only in summer, but even in winter, you can enjoy your stay in Port de Sóller, because the villa has not only air conditioning, but also central heating and an open fireplace in the living room. The weather is actually fantastic, except sometimes in November, February, and now and then in April, almost all year round. Specially for hikers & golfers, the temperature can be a bit high during summer(30ºC/40ºC) but the rest of the year around are very pleasant ranging from 26ºC to 10ºC from autumn to winter, and 10ºC to 24ºC from the end of winter to the late spring.
The house is visible from the path. It lies in an empty cul de sac and is surrounded by a green zone.
This road leads up from below to our villa.
What is "funny" - the dead end has 2 names and, as the villa is in the bend, you can see both names on the internet or when going around the bend.
Our entrance is on the - Carrer de França, 30 - and at the back of the house begins the end of the street with the new name - Carrer de Puerto Rico.
At the entrance gate, where you can park next to a garage, there is a staircase that leads up to the garden with pool area, terrace and summer kitchen. There is also the entrance to the house. But you can also go by car to the garden entrance gate, which is in the curve, and park there on arrival and departure, so you do not have to carry your luggage up.
The entrance leads from the garden to the ground floor, where are the living room, a hall, the kitchen with utility room and on the terrace a guest toilet.
The living room is equipped with a couch and two armchairs, one dining table and six chairs, desk and chair, one closet and desk, TV plus stereo, and a fireplace.
The kitchen has everything you need: fridge freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine plus coffee capsule machine, sink, crockery, cutlery, glasses, etc., and also a dishwasher and a washing machine.
From the hall you can reach a staircase to the upper floor, where the three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located.
On the top left next to the stairs is the first bedroom, which is furnished with a king size bed.
Right next to the first bedroom, entrance from the hallway, is a bathroom with shower / tub, sink, bidet and toilet. There is also a plastic baby bath which can be moved back and forth. The next bedroom, further to the right in the hallway is the entrance, has two single beds and the third, which is at the end of the corridor, has a 1.80x2.00m double bed and bathroom en suite, with shower, sink, bidet plus WC.
All bedrooms have wardrobes or fully equipped. There are also two baby / toddler beds are available. Please let us know if you need additional baby / toddler bed (s).
Outside in the garden there is the pool, which is large and deep and on the terraces is the summer kitchen and a guest toilet.
There are many parking possibilities at the house.
The villa is located in a quiet area, yet very close to the center with shops and restaurants, beach and harbor and the pedestrian area.
The house can be enjoyed in summer as well as in spring and also in winter, as the sun always reaches it and it is close to beautiful hiking trails in the Serra de Tramuntana.
If you do not wish to rent a car, you can take a bus (must be booked in advance) from the airport to Palma and from there to the port of Sóller.
The stop is in the first roundabout and in about 10-15 minutes, depending on the luggage, you can reach on foot the villa. As the road goes up, however, it is not so easy with luggage.
For arrivals and departures you can drive the car into the garden area, so that you can load and unload your things more conveniently. Please call and inform my house manager, as the entrance gate, which is in the bend, can only be opened from the inside.
Arrival time: from 15.00h to 20.00h
Departure time: until 11.00 in the morning
Since, after the departure, the house, garden and pool must be cleaned and the laundry washed etc., (wich is a standard rate of 4 hours of work from the cleaning women and gardener) were the o.g. Times set.
